Where is Stroud?
Where are we situated?
Stroud is a small town outside Gloucester, in the Southern Cotswolds, meeting at the point of the Five Valleys and the surrounding 14 other towns. With a population just over 30,000 people, we feel we could make a contribution to promoting Fairtrade locally. Only 20.6% of people in Stroud are under the age of 16, so we can guess that we are some of the few of our age to attempt this online.
Who are we?
We are a group of 4 students from a local school in the area, working together periodically, investigating the history, benefits, and support for Fairtrade locally. Our original aim was to create awareness of Fairtrade only in Stroud, but we have now also gained interest regionally across the South West.
